SketchCrawl, the art version of a pub crawl, comes to Honolulu. For a day you meander around Chinatown and sketch (or write). Sound good? Meet at 8:30 a.m. tomorrow in front of Zaney's Restaurant, 1170 Nu'uanu Ave.

Organizer (and architectural designer) John Yamashige will fill you in on the event, then you'll break into groups and put your pen to work. SketchCrawls, started by San Francisco artist Enrico Casarosa in 2004, will be happening the same day around the world. Check out the global community at www.sketchcrawl.com. HMSA HOSTS HEALTHY-FOOD FEST

People want fresh food from the 'aina. HMSA meets demand with its Island Fresh Festival, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. tomorrow in front of Ward Centre — Auahi Street will be pedestrians-only from Kamakee Street to the IBM building.

You'll find a farmers' market, food booths and chef demos by Chai Chaowasaree, Pedro Rivera from soon-to-open MAC 24/7, Dr. Stephen Bradley of the Wai'anae Coast Comprehensive Health Center and Down to Earth's April Cockrell. HMSA aims to encourage families to eat healthy — and include locally grown produce on the home menu.
