Six Dodgers prospects to play here

Slowly, but surely the players are trickling in to Hawai'i Winter Baseball.
Six from the Los Angeles Dodgers organization and two each from the San Diego Padres and Arizona Diamondbacks have been assigned to the revived HWB, the league announced yesterday.
The Dodgers' prospects are first baseman Cory Dunlap, outfielder Xavier Paul, third baseman Blake DeWitt, left-handed pitcher Wesley Wright, right-handed pitcher Zachary Hammes and catcher Anthony Harper.
The Padres are sending second baseman Peter Ciofrone and shortstop Sean Kazmar.
The Diamondbacks are providing outfielder Chris Rahl and pitcher Kyler Newby.
DODGERS
Dunlap batted .261 at Vero Beach, where led the High-A Florida State League with a .435 on-base percentage. He was promoted to Triple-A Las Vegas, where he played four games.
Paul batted .285 with 13 home runs and 49 RBIs at Vero Beach. Although he had 22 steals, he was caught 15 times.
DeWitt batted .266 with 18 homers and 61 RBIs at Vero Beach before earning promotion to Double-A Jacksonville of the Southern League. He was ranked seventh among the Dodgers' top 30 prospects by Baseball America.
Wright was 3-3 with a 1.49 earned run average in 26 relief appearances. He struck out 51 and walked 23 in 42 1/3 innings. He also earned promotion to Jacksonville.
Harper batted .287 with six home runs and 32 RBIs at Columbus (Ga.) of the Low-A South Atlantic League.
The Dodgers prospects have been assigned to the North Shore Honu.
PADRES
Ciofrone batted .292 with eight home runs and 74 RBIs at Lake Elsinore of the High-A California League.
Kazmar hit .250 with 19 doubles, five triples, 13 home runs and 72 RBIs at Lake Elsinore.
They have not been assigned to a HWB team. Diamondbacks
Rahl batted .327 with 44 doubles, eight triples, 13 home runs and 83 RBIs for Lancaster of the California League. He also had 19 steals.
Newby was 6-1 with a 2.05 ERA and 11 saves in 28 appearances for South Bend of the Low-A Midwest League. The 6-4, 225-pound right-hander had 64 strikeouts to 19 walks in 44 innings.
The two Diamondback prospects have been assigned to the West O'ahu CaneFires.
The league also has players from the Atlanta Braves and Texas Rangers.
League spokesman Dave Rolf said team assignments will be completed when the league knows all of the players coming. The Asian pro leagues have yet to announce their players.
