A Day at Queen Emma Summer Palace promises a day of entertainment, a fashion show, arts and crafts, jams and jellies, plants, baked good and food and drink — all on the graceful grounds of the palace at 2913 Pali Highway.

Hours are from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. today. Admission is $5 general, $1 for children, and includes admission to the palace itself. Turn on Pu'iwa Road; park on the grass at the park. The annual event is a fundraiser for the Daughters of Hawai'i in its efforts to preserve the Islands' palaces. 595-6291.|
