PLUS-SIZE BRAS
A woman who wears bra size 32A may find this hard to believe: It's not easy being a 52DD — it can be a major challenge to find the bra size.
Now full-figured gals can head to Morgan Beret Fine Lingerie & Bed Linen in Kahala Mall, where they carry two new lines with hard-to-find sizes, Goddess and Fantasie of England. Sizes range from 34 to 56 in B to JJ cups.
Goddess is known for its comfortable no-wire bras and supportive strapless styles, as well as an engineered sports bra that shapes instead of smooshes. The high-fashion, feminine fabrics come in quiet, neutral colors.
Fantasie of England makes a seamless T-shirt bra as well as bras in feminine fabrics, trims, mesh and embroidery in colors that pop: hot pink, plum and deep purple, for example.
WARD CENTRE FLIPS ITS LIDS
The newest addition to the Ward Centers retail family is Lids, specializing in athletic fashion headwear and custom embroidery. Just bring in a jpeg image on a CD and they can embroider your logo or message onto a hat, shirt, bag or whatevah.
The retailer offers more than 1,000 hats featuring logos of college, NBA, NFL and NHL teams, as well as complementary apparel.
Lids is between Crazy Shirts and Kua 'Aina Sandwich on Auahi Street. Phone: 591-9137.
