A 23-year-old Wahiawa man was arrested yesterday in the April 29 armed robbery of a Mililani credit union.
The man was arrested on one count of first-degree robbery and was being held last night pending charges.
During the incident, a masked man with a pistol demanded money from a teller at the Hawai'i Federal Credit Union in Mililani. But police said the robbery was "interrupted" by a bank customer and the robber fled without any money.
The robbery was the subject of a CrimeStoppers bulletin Thursday and police, acting on an anonymous tip, arrested the man at 9 a.m. yesterday his Wahiawa home.
