You know Mother's Day is May 14, right? You have about a week to find that very special gift that says, "Thanks, Mom!"

Need a little help? A couple of craft fairs might fill the bill, and they're even within walking distance of each other:

• The Pacific Handcrafters Guild Spring Festival takes over Thomas Square from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. today and tomorrow. There you'll find pottery, wood crafts, clothing, glass works, jewelry and more. There's food and entertainment, too.

Admission is free. 254-6788.

• The 9th Islandwide Mother's Day Crafts and Food Expo continues from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. today, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. tomorrow at the Blaisdell Center. It's a massive collection of 250 vendors offering everything from koa clocks and rubber stamps, from wallets and 'ukulele.

Edibles include pasteles, poi mochi, liliko'i butter jam, pet treats and much more.

Admission is $3 general, free for those younger than 12. 623-4050.
