Man indicted in auto shop fire

A federal grand jury yesterday indicted a man on charges he set fire to a Kailua business in April.
John Paul Jones was charged with the malicious destruction of property by fire or explosives.
Jones is accused of starting the fire that heavily damaged Sumida's Auto Body and Paint at 39 Ho'olai St. on April 7. The fire was reported at 10:08 p.m. and arriving firefighters found the second floor of the business engulfed in flames.
