'Ohi'a Productions is accepting applications for the stage and parade production "The Christmas Gift of Aloha" to be preformed on Ala Moana Center Stage at 6 p.m. nightly except Mondays, Nov. 24-Dec. 23. Looking for adult (14 and over) actors, singers, dancers and Santa role, as well as three child (8-13) singers/dancers. Must be available for all meetings, fittings and rehearsals, 6:30-10:30 p.m. Oct. 9-Nov. 22 at Windward Community College and after hours at Ala Moana Center. The Hawaii Repertory Theatre auditions for the Oct. 13-22 production of Tom Stoppard's "The Real Thing," 6:30-10 p.m. Friday and 2-5 p.m. Saturday (callbacks 7 p.m. Aug. 8), Kawananakoa Middle School auditorium. Hawaii Youth Opera Chorus auditions for boys and girls (grades K-12) to participate in the training. performance and touring opportunities in their choral ensembles, Aug. 19 and 26, UH-Manoa Music Department. 2007 Miss Chinatown Hawaii seeks contestants of Chinese ancestry, ages 18-26, for the 28th annual pageant in November at Hawai'i Theatre. Women must be single, never married, with no children and a U.S. citizen or permanent resident of Hawai'i. The Chinese Chamber of Commerce seeks contestants, ages 19-26, for the 2007 Narcissus Queen Pageant to be held Jan. 20. Contestants, who must be at least half Chinese, a Hawai'i resident, never married, with no children, will compete in interview, talent, evening gown and on-stage speech segments. 55th Cherry Blossom Festival of Honolulu seeks applications for Cherry Blossom Queen from women, 19-26, who are at least half Japanese, a U.S. citizen and Hawai'i resident.
