The Hawaiian Astronomical Society, with the Lodge and Beach Village at Moloka'i Ranch, host the Milky Way Star Party Sept. 15 and 16. Telescopes will be set up for society members to guide novice stargazers through the night sky. Guests may attend daytime overviews to help them navigate star charts and draw constellations. September's night sky highlights the Cygnus Milky Way with dark, marbled veins of dust straight overhead.
