TONIGHT'S MUST-SEE

"The Apprentice," 8 p.m., NBC. A new round begins, instantly reminding us that life isn't fair. The two team captains (one male, one female) are both TV-pretty. One is a Harvard Business School grad. The other is a member of the high-IQ group Mensa. These people are so overblessed that you almost want them to fail. Tonight, one does. Some poor decisions lead to an exceptionally ugly scene in the boardroom. Donald Trump ends up firing someone out of anger. It's an intriguing start to the season.

"Related," 8 p.m., WB. Few shows would dare stir humor into a lifeor-death hospital tale. This one does it with sharp writing and strong acting. Ginnie is hospitalized and her sisters arrive in flux. Anne is secretly back with Danny. Marjee's hedonistic life is in shambles and Rose is also in limbo. The result nimbly juggles humor and sharp drama.

OF NOTE

"Skating With Celebrities" finale, 7 p.m., Fox. After the high-stakes drama of the Olympics, we can settle back and watch the end of this goofy show, which was taped in advance. You'll even spot John Nicks (Sasha Cohen's coach) as a judge. Six couples started, but the only survivors are the ones with a guy experienced in pairs skating. Lloyd Eisler lifts actress Kristy Swanson; John Zimmerman lifts Jillian Barberie, a TV personality who was a serious teen skater.

"Deal or No Deal," 7 p.m., NBC. This lightweight show in which people must decide to keep a briefcase that may or may not contain cash doesn't even have a play-along factor for the audience. Still, it was a surprise hit during a five-day strip in December. Now it runs at 8 p.m. daily, through Friday, then it gets a regular Monday spot. Howie Mandel hosts.

"Two and a Half Men," 8 p.m., CBS. Charlie is still with the beautiful Mia (Emmanuelle Vaugier). They argue about his lifestyle.

"The Bachelor" finale, 8 p.m., ABC. It's decision time for Dr. Travis Stork, 33. Each prospect is 26. Moana is a distribution manager in Los Angeles and Sarah is a kindergarten teacher in Nashville, which is also where he works.

"24," 8 p.m., Fox. How did the terrorists get nerve gas? Jack checks a company that used to make it for the military.
