TONIGHT'S MUST-SEE
"Cat in the Hat" (7 p.m.), "Seuss on the Loose" (7:30 p.m.) and "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" (2000), 8 and 10:30 p.m., ABC Family. It's an all-Dr. Seuss evening, with two cartoons and then a Jim Carrey movie.
OF NOTE
"Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer," 7 p.m., CBS. Some kids will want to jump from the Seuss cartoons to this 42-year-old classic.
"Ugly Betty," 7 p.m., ABC. In a rerun, Betty's nephew, the one who idolizes the fashion world, spends the day at her magazine.
" 'Til Death," 7 p.m., Fox. The daughter of Eddie and Joy visits and promptly seeks boyfriend advice. She's played by Krysten Ritter, who has been Lucy on "Gilmore Girls" and Gia on "Veronica Mars."
"The War at Home," 7:30 p.m., Fox. Hilary wants to prove she's not just another pretty face, by dating a blind guy.
"Grey's Anatomy," 8 p.m., ABC. In a rerun, Derek learns that the affair with Addison and Mark wasn't just a one-night stand.
"CSI: Crime Scene Investigation," 8 p.m., CBS. This reruns the second half of a story with Danny Bonaduce as a slain rock star.
"The O.C.," 8 p.m., Fox. Ryan plans a surprise trip with Taylor for New Year's Eve; then, of course, those plans get complicated.
"The Office," 8 p.m., NBC. Here's the same episode that ran last week, a funny one with dueling Christmas parties. The only difference is that it runs an hour later to make room for "Identity."
"My Name is Earl," 9 p.m., NBC. Feeling that her dad is a racist, Joy is afraid to say she's married to Darnell. So Earl must pretend they're still married, in this rerun.
"Scrubs," 9:30 p.m., NBC. In a rerun, Nicole Sullivan returns as an annoying former patient.
