Emme Tomimbang gives her Islands-exploring TV series a Pinoy spin in honor of the Filipino Centennial in Hawai'i. "Emme's Mabuhay Moments" airs at 9 tonight on KHON2 (and repeats at 4 p.m. Sunday).
The show follows the veteran broadcaster on a trip to the Philippines, where she visits President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, sees a Hawai'i concert featuring Jasmine Trias and the Tihati Dancers, interviews Ilocos Norte Gov. Ferdinand "Bong Bong" Marcos Jr., and witnesses Vivian Aiona, wife of Lt. Gov. Duke Aiona, rediscovering her roots. That's just for starters.
