SNAG ORIGINAL ART, BENEFIT YOUNG ARTISTS
Natalie Parker, a 19-year-old student at Hawai'i Pacific University, has collaborated for two years with local artists, most of whom are college students, and rehab patients to provide artwork to sell at the Young Artists Helping Young Artists benefit, 5 to 8 p.m. tomorrow at Compadres Bar & Grill in Ward Centre. The event raises funds for the Rehabilitation Hospital of the Pacific and its Louis Vuitton Creative Art Program. Sculptures, jewelry, paintings, ceramics and Fair Trade items from around the world will be on sale from 11 a.m. Mountain Apple artists Jeff Peterson, Manoa DNA and Brother Noland will perform.
Tickets are $30 at Compadres and the Rehab Hospital, or by calling 591-8307.
