Pualani's Amazon to heat up Elks Lodge

Pualani's Amazon print swimwear will be featured at tonight's Elks fashion show fundraiser.

Pualani Hawai'i and Chelsea Gines will present a swimwear fashion show to benefit the Elks National Foundation from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Elks Lodge 616 in Waikiki.

The show will feature Pualani's latest prints, including the hot new Amazon with a little bling, as well as classic pink-on-brown polka dots and a bold camouflage print. Each print comes in a variety of styles, from the barest bikinis to flattering one-pieces and tankinis, as well as halter dresses, flirty skirts, yoga pants and bike shorts.

The fundraiser also will feature a silent auction and limbo and watermelon-eating contests. Admission is $20 and tickets are sold at the Elks Lodge front desk. Information: call 295-2741.

NEIMAN TRUNK SHOWS

Neiman Marcus at Ala Moana Center is gearing up for fall with a plethora of trunk shows of all that's haute and happening.

David Yurman jewelry will present a trunk show of his new Cable and Tapestry collections designed exclusively for Neiman Marcus through Saturday.

The jewels of Italian design house Staurino Fratelli will be introduced by the jeweler's representative, James Boutureira. The Renaissance collection fea-tures a V-scooped necklace with gold and diamond ties.

Tod's, the iconic Italian leather company, will present its men's and women's fall collections of shoes and handbags Saturday through Thursday.

All things Emilio Pucci are being revered once again as the bold design aesthetic catches on with a new generation. View the latest during informal modeling of sportswear and accessories Monday and Tuesday.
