'Wallace and Gromit' today, 'Narnia' tomorrow at Sunset

Sunset on the Beach is back in Waikiki this weekend, with food booths, entertainment and movies on that 30-foot screen.

Tonight's film is "Wallace and Gromit: Curse of the Were-Rabbit," which recently won the Academy Award for best animated feature. In this adventure, Gromit the brilliant dog and his human companion Wallace must solve the mystery of a vegetable-ravaging monster.

Tomorrow's film is "The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe," based on the fantasy novel by C.S. Lewis.

Sunset on the Beach festivals begin at 4 p.m. at Queen's Surf; the movies hit the screen after the sun goes down. Admission is free. 923-1094.
