Video tests for firefighter recruits scheduled for today at the University of Hawai'i-Manoa have been canceled. All candidates who received admission letters should not report for the video test, city officials said yesterday.

The city has elected to remove the test from the examination process — it will not be rescheduled. Test scores will be based entirely on the written examination.
