JOHN MINK RITES SET FOR NOV. 21

Local services have been set for JOHN FRANCIS MINK, 81, internationally respected hydrologist and husband of the late U.S. Rep. Patsy Mink, of Honolulu, who died Oct. 18, 2005. Visitation will be at 5 p.m. Nov. 21 at Hosoi Garden Mortuary; service 6 p.m. Arrangements by Hosoi Garden Mortuary. Mink is survived by his daughter, Gwendolyn "Wendy"; a brother, James; and sisters, Mary Louise Ganley and Ann Quinn.

EVELYN PANG ACHIU, 86, of Honolulu, died Oct. 22, 2005. Born in Honolulu. Retired waitress at The Pacific Club.
