TONIGHT'S MUST-SEE

"E-Ring," 7 p.m., NBC; and "Over There" season finale, 7 p.m., FX. It's a military Wednesday. Tonight's "E-Ring" has J.T. (Benjamin Bratt) perplexed by seeing someone suddenly added to the capture-or-kill list. As he researches it, he learns that Pentagon politics can be dangerous. Meanwhile, he also helps a friend (Kerr Smith) adjust to civilian life. Later tonight, "Over There" — the intense Steven Bochco series set among U.S. soldiers in Iraq — wraps up its first 13-week season. The unit is in charge of protecting a civilian convoy. Along the way, soldiers doubt their lieutenant's competence. Meanwhile, Bo (Josh Henderson) keeps trying to return to the military, despite his severe injuries, and meets someone who might help.

World Series: Game Four, 2 p.m., Fox. The best-of-seven series between the Chicago White Sox and Houston Astros.

"The George Lopez Show," 7 p.m., ABC. George's mom continues to bother everyone. He tries to overload her with kindness, but that doesn't help.

"The Cemetery Special," 8 p.m., PBS. Any stroll through a cemetery tends to bring gentle, quirky surprises. That's true here, but the hour is also limited by its unfocused approach. Rich Sebak used that approach beautifully when he made a film about odd-shaped buildings. Here, however, things seem too random as he gathers tidbits of cemetery history.

"Twitches," 8 p.m., Disney Channel. If you missed this pleasant movie last week, here is another chance. Real-life twins Tia and Tamera Mowry play women who turn 21 and learn they are sisters and witches from a royal family in an alternate universe. "Twitches" juggles adventure and humor.

"Related," 8 p.m., WB. The four sisters in this excellent new show tend to battle each other in entertaining ways. There is more of that this time when they try to work together for a weekend at their dad's deli.

"Lost," 8 p.m., ABC. After some terrific episodes — and last week's so-so one — this show takes two weeks off for reruns. Tonight, it has the season-opener, with the raft survivors finding crises on the water and then on shore. Meanwhile, Locke, Kate and Jack plunge down the hatch.

"Invasion," 9 p.m., ABC. Russell (Eddie Cibrian) finds an old Cuban refugee who says he lost his family to "the lights." Russell decides to go fishing, hoping to catch a light.
