There are two — count ’em, two — Sunset festivals with food booths, entertainment and movies this weekend. One is at Queen’s Surf Beach; the other is a bigger affair in Kapolei, which had been postponed from last weekend because of rain.
The film “Millions,” about two British boys who find a bag of cash, will be screened after the “Wallace” features. Tomorrow’s movie is “Bend It Like Beckham,” about an Indian girl in London who wants to become a soccer pro.
Admission is free. Sunset begins at 4 p.m. each day. 923-1094.
Today’s movie is “The Pacifier,” starring Vin Diesel as a very tough baby sitter; tomorrow it’s “The Longest Yard,” starring Adam Sandler in the football remake. There’ll be fireworks just before tonight’s film, too.
Admission is free. Sunset on the Plains takes place from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. today and tomorrow at Kapolei Regional Park. 672-9414.
