QUICK BITES
Dessert extravaganza an indulgence for good causes

Advertiser Staff

If you've yet to get enough chocolate in your life, this will interest you: Emmanuel Episcopal Church's third annual Chocolate Extravaganza is 6:30 to 9 p.m. Nov. 12 at the church, 780 Keolu Drive, in Kailua. This all-you-can-eat dessert buffet ($10 in advance, $15 at the door) benefits Honolulu Habitat for Humanity, Hale Kipa and the Emmanuel church.

Amateur bakers will create their best for evaluation by judges, while bakeries and confectioners are donating their specialties. Non DeMello of Agnes' Portuguese Bake Shop will prepare a chocolate dessert and then post it on his Web site, www.agnesbakeshop.com. Information: 262-4548.
