SANDRA HOSHIDA has been named manager of government affairs for Young Brothers Ltd. She will be responsible for managing the interisland shipping company's legislative and regulatory affairs. She is a former assistant auditor for the state Auditor's Office and a past chief counsel for the state Public Utilities Commission. Young Brothers provides interisland cargo service statewide.
Christian Fern has been promoted to an account executive in the marketing department of the Hawai'i Medical Service Association. He previously was a corporate educator for HMSA.
GAINOR MIYASHIRO has been named director of administration and communications for the Better Business Bureau of Hawai'i. She will manage office functions and assist in communications and directing media and board relations. Previously, she was manager of administration and communications.
Ko Olina Resort and Marina has named TIM DIETRICH director of Ko Olina Clubs, managing operation and membership amenities for all club facilities, including Ko Olina Sports Club.
JOHN KIRKPATRICK has joined Belt Collins Hawai'i Ltd. as senior socio-economic analyst. Also, VINCENT CHAN has been named Belt Collins project manager and civil engineer.
