Kamana'o, Prince earn West Region honors

University of Hawai'i junior setter Kanoe Kamana'o and senior middle blocker Victoria Prince were named to the American Volleyball Coaches Association Division I West Region team yesterday.
It is the third such honor for Kamana'o, and the second for Prince.
Senior libero Ashley Watanabe was an honorable mention selection.
Moanalua graduate Amanda Vazquez, a senior middle blocker at UC Irvine, was also named to the West Region team.

RAU, CARROLL LEAD
David Rau and Scott Carroll, representing the Kapalua Golf Club, teamed for a 6-under 66 at the Hualalai Golf Club yesterday to take a one-stroke lead in the Aloha Section E-Z-GO/Golf Concepts Head Pro-Assistant Pro Championship.
Ko Olina Golf Club's Kevin Carll and Tommy Hines are alone in second after a 67 in the 36-hole, four-ball, stroke-play event.
Three teams in the 37-team field are tied for third at 68.
