  • KATHRYN DRURY WAGNER has been named managing editor of Honolulu Magazine. She was previously associate editor of the magazine, and managing editor of company-produced "Ala Moana" publication. Before moving to Hawai'i, she was managing editor of Hearst Corp.'s "Country Living Gardener." Wagner replaces A. Kam Napier, who was recently named editor.

  • STEPHEN E. NASH and SCOTT E. FLEMING have been named principals at Durrant Media Five, an architectural, engineering and planning firm formerly known as Media Five Ltd. Nash, a certified construction specifier and registered architect, and decade-long company veteran, will be responsible for oversight of several new O'ahu high-rise projects. Fleming, who moved to the company's Hilo office from California, will be responsible for operation of the Hilo office.

  • JOAN V. NACINO, has joined Aloha Cargo Transport as regional sales manager for Hawai'i. She previously worked in customer service, sales and operations at Young Brothers Ltd.

  • Justin Kai Romig has been named to Hilo Hattie's advisory board. A graduate of Home Depot's retail management store leadership program, Romig attends Santa Clara University. Also joining Hilo Hattie are Mari Tianne Okamoto, named O'ahu sales manager, and STEPHEN LOPAZ, named supervisor of the sales and marketing department.

  • Sharon K. Ohata has been named vice president of claims consulting services for locally-owned Atlas Insurance Agency Inc. She will oversee complex workers' compensation claims and serve as client consultant on return-to-work and other workers' compensation cost containment programs.
