Boy, 15, reports being assaulted at Wahiawa park
Two boys, ages 17 and 16, were arrested Wednesday night in Wahiawa after a 15-year-old boy told police he was attacked by the two and several of their acquaintances while passing through a public park about 9:15 p.m.
The boy who filed the complaint said he got into an argument with one of the boys and was immediately attacked by the entire group of boys who were drinking at the park.
He said the 16-year-old boy punched him in the face, while the 17-year-old boy hit him in the back of the head with a beer bottle.
Police were called to the scene and arrested two of the boys on suspicion of second- and third-degree assault.
They were later released to their parents pending further investigation.
