Olympics: Romney headed to the Winter Games in Vancouver

BOSTON — Mitt Romney is heading back to the Winter Olympics.
The man who lead a revival of the scandal-plagued 2002 Games in Salt Lake City will be a guest of honor at the 2010 Games in Vancouver.
Spokesman Eric Fehrnstrom says Romney and his wife, Ann, will be in Canada from Friday through Monday.
The Romneys also attended the 2006 Games in Torino, Italy.
The trip kicks off a busy two months in which the former Massachusetts governor, 2008 presidential contender and likely 2012 White House candidate combines political activity with the release of a new book on March 2.
Romney will speak about "No Apology: The Case for American Greatness" that day on NBC's "Today" show; ABC's "The View;" Fox News Channel's "Hannity" program and; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman."
He will visit 18 states, the District of Columbia and Toronto — where rival Sarah Palin also did a book-signing — during his tour.
Romney will also attend fundraisers for Sen. John Thune, R-S.D., Rep. Connie Mack, R-Fla., and three Georgia congressmen later this month.
