LINCOLN, Neb. — Kelsey Griffin had 21 points and 10 rebounds, Cory Montgomery added a season-high 18 points and fourth-ranked Nebraska turned back No. 12 Texas A&M's late comeback attempt to defeat the Aggies, 71-60, yesterday.

The Cornhuskers (21-0, 8-0 Big 12) won by double digits for the 18th time, but this one wasn't easy.

The Aggies (16-5, 4-4) were within 65-60 in the final three minutes before Dominique Kelley made big plays at both ends to help the Huskers rebuild their lead.

"Our toughness down the stretch was terrific," Nebraska coach Connie Yori said. "'Nique made some great plays, in particular that one with 2 1/2 minutes left where she dropped it off to Kelsey. That was the biggest play of the game."

NO. 3 NOTRE DAME 86, PITTSBURGH 76

Skylar Diggins had 23 points and 10 rebounds, Lindsay Schrader added 18 points, and the host Fighting Irish (21-1, 8-1 Big East) used a 10-2 second-half run to open 69-53 lead in turning back the Panthers (12-10, 1-8).

NO. 13 OKLAHOMA 77, NO. 10 OKLAHOMA STATE 66

Danielle Robinson scored 36 points and the visiting Sooners (18-5, 6-3 Big 12) beat the Cowgirls (16-6, 6-3) for the 21st time in their last 22 meetings. Both teams are tied for second in the conference behind unbeaten Nebraska.

BYU-HAWAI'I 78, DOMINICAN 64

Richelle Fenebock scored 13 points and Mahina Gago and Zori Drew each added 12, leading the host Seasiders past the Penguins in a Pacific West Conference game at Cannon Activities Center in Lā'ie. BYUH, which dominated the second half — 51-37 — improved to 7-11, 3-5. Dominican fell to 4-14, 1-6.
