A fire that heavily damaged a Kalihi warehouse late Jan. 29 was deliberately set, a Honolulu Fire Department investigator has determined.
The warehouse on Republican Street was occupied by Lava Lining. The blaze caused an estimated $475,000 in damage to the building and its contents.
A fire investigator said the fire was intentionally set, said Capt. Terry Seelig, HFD spokesman. Honolulu police have opened an arson investigation.
