CAREER HIGHLIGHTS
- Wong and his partner, Rob Heidger, are the top-ranked U.S. team and No. 7 in the world
- Wong debuted on international circuit in 1998, with Carl Henkel, and collected six Top 10s that year. The day after their best finish, Wong began his partnership with Heidger.
- Heidger and Wong took third at the 1999 FIVB Canada Open, defeating defending Olympic gold medalist Karch Kiralys team. They won more than $80,000 last year, with seven Top 10s. This year, they have $56,000 and a runnerup finish at the 2000 FIVB Mexico Open.
- At UCLA, Wong won NCAA championships in 1993 and 95, earning NCAA all-tournament honors in 95 and second-team All-American honors in 1994
- Reached his first AVP (domestic tour) final in 1998, with former Rainbow Albert Hannemann. On his birthday last year, Wong won the 1999 Bank of America/U.S. Olympic Cup, with Heidger.
