Here are the candidates who will be on the ballot for the Sept. 18 Hawai'i primary election. Yesterday was the deadline for candidates to submit nomination papers to run for office.
Incumbents are designated by . Candidates who are unopposed and thus automatically elected are listed in CAPITAL LETTERS.
The general election is Nov. 2. At that time Hawai'i voters will also vote for U.S. president, Office of Hawaiian Affairs candidates and proposed amendments to the state constitution and the county charters.
