Steven Spielberg, who has filmed segments of his "Indiana Jones/Raiders of the Lost Ark" and "Jurassic Park" movies in Hawai'i since the 1980s, will film his big-budget TV drama for Fox, "Terra Nova," here this summer. www.EW.com reports that the 13-episode saga, about a family 100 years into the future that time-travels back into the prehistoric era, will be the next project for the Academy Award-winning producer, director and writer. The announcement is expected to be made Monday.

CROWE HARKS BACK TO EARLIER ROLE

Move over, Robin Hood. The gladiator is back.

Russell Crowe visited the Colosseum a decade after starring in the title role of the movie "Gladiator."

The Italian Culture Ministry said Crowe was given a tour yesterday of the 2,000-year-old arena and presented with a medal. Italian news reports said his family was in tow.

Crowe won the Oscar for best actor for his portrayal of fallen Roman general Maximus in Ridley Scott's film. The Colosseum seen in the movie was recreated on a set and through computer images.

Crowe is fresh off the Cannes film festival where he presented his new movie, "Robin Hood," also directed by Scott.

FLOWERS DELIVERED TO JACKSON'S GRAVE

Sunflowers are now blooming outside Michael Jackson's crypt in Southern California.

Grower Jason Levin yesterday delivered up to 2,000 sunflowers to the massive marble and concrete Great Mausoleum at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Glendale.

Levin said he decided to donate the $3,000 to $5,000 worth of flowers after hearing Lisa Marie Presley complain there were only a few bouquets, candles and gifts surrounding the tomb.

Jackson died at age 50 last June 25.

ACTRESS ALLEGES ABUSE BY POLANSKI

Los Angeles County prosecutors have met with a British actress who claims she was sexually abused by director Roman Polanski in his Paris apartment when she was 16 — years before she appeared in one of his movies.

Charlotte Lewis, 42, said yesterday that the filmmaker abused her "in the worst possible way" in the 1980s.

Lewis provided no evidence to support her claims, and her attorney, Gloria Allred, did not permit her to answer questions during a news conference in her office.

WALTERS ON MEND FROM HEART SURGERY

Barbara Walters is recovering from surgery to repair a faulty heart valve.

The 80-year-old television legend's spokeswoman said yesterday that the surgery "went well and the doctors are very pleased with the outcome."

MOURNERS PAY TRIBUTE TO LENA HORNE

Lena Horne was remembered at her funeral yesterday as a shy girl from Brooklyn who fought racism for decades to emerge as a world-class singer and social activist.

"She was so many ideas existing all at the same time in the same space and they were all conflicting and they were all true," her granddaughter, Jenny Lumet, told hundreds of mourners at the Church of St. Ignatius Loyola in Manhattan.

Horne died Sunday at 92.
