A man who used his cellphone while locked in the trunk of a vehicle, claimed he had been kidnapped in the Salt Lake- Puuloa area, according to police communications.

Police have arrested two men on suspicion of kidnapping in the 10:30 a.m. incident.

The incident is still being investigated, police said. Police allegedly used the man's cellphone signal to pinpoint his location within a one-third mile radius near Onipaa Street in the Moanalua area.

No other details were available.
