Freebies, Stormtroopers and more at libraries

Choose from Archie, G.I. Joe, Iron Man, Toy Story, Shrek and other titles during Free Comic Book Day today at nine Hawai'i public libraries. Library patrons can receive a free comic by showing their Hawai'i State Public

Library System card.

Choose from a variety of comic books for all ages, while supplies last. Participating libraries: 'Aiea (483-7333), 'Aina Haina (377-2456), Hawai'i Kai (397-5833), Kailua (266-9911), Kapolei (693-7050), Liliha (587-7577), McCully-Mo'ili'ili (973-1099), Mililani (627-7470) and Lahaina (808-662-3950).

Star Wars Stormtroopers and other characters in costume will visit the following libraries to add to the celebration: 10 a.m.-11:30 a.m. in 'Aiea and Kapolei, and 2-4 p.m. in Kailua and Liliha.
