Fresno State ends Rainbow Wahine's 18-game winning streak, 9-7

Caitlin Stiglich hit a game-tying grand slam in the top of the fifth inning and then a three-run homer in seventh this afternoon to help visiting Fresno State rally past Hawaii, 9-7, handing the Rainbow Wahine their first Western Athletic Conference softball loss after 18 straight victories.
It was the first game of WAC doubleheader at Rainbow Wahine Softball Stadium.
UH, ranked No. 20 in the nation by ESPN/USA Softball, fell to 40-12 overall and 18-1 in the WAC. The Rainbow Wahine had clinched the WAC's regular season championship with a 5-0 win last night.
Fresno State improved to 34-15, 13-4.
