867-5309's Tommy Tutone, Dale Bozzio coming to Pipeline

Advertiser Staff

Pipeline Cafe is going back to the '80s on May 7, bringing in Tommy Tutone of "867-5300/Jenny" fame and former lead singer from Missing Persons Dale Bozzio for a concert.

Tickets are $25 and $50 and can be purchased at groovetickets, com or by calling 877-714-3663. Showtime is 8 p.m. with doors opening at 7. The show is open to anyone 18 and older.

Tutone's "867-5309/Jenny" sold more than 1 million copies, while Bozzio, with her model-esque looks, multi-colored hair, and interesting fashion sense, was a major factor in the Missing Persons' early '80s success. The band enjoyed a sizeable hit right off the bat, with their gold-certified debut album, Spring Session M, and its hit videos/singles, "Words" and "Destination Unknown."
