Advertiser Staff

Police arrested a 37-year-old woman on suspicion of attempting to cash counterfeit checks at a Pearl City business.

The woman was arrested yesterday while attempting to cash a third check at a business on Saturday when the cashier noticed the check was similar to other counterfeit checks that had been cashed before, according to the Honolulu Police Department.

The woman was arrested on suspicion of three counts of forgery and released pending further investigation.
