Upwards of 150 people turned out in Honolulu today for the funeral of 5-year-old Kaiya Kapahu.

The special-needs child from Hawaii died in Arizona last month while in the care of an uncle. He has been charged in her death.
Today at the Nuuanu Memorial Park and Mortuary, memories of Kaiya flowed freely.
So did the tears.
After the formal service, grieving family and friends released a rainbow of colored pigeons in her honor.
