Suspect in American Savings Bank robbery

Police were looking for the suspect in Tuesday's robbery at the Salt Lake branch of American Savings Bank at 848 Lilikoi St.

According to initial police reports, the robber entered the bank about 9:10 a.m., demanded money, showed a gun and assaulted an employee before leaving.
He was last seen getting into a 4-door compact car on Salt Lake Boulevard.
The suspect is described as in his 20s to 30s, 5 feet 8 to 5 feet 10 and 120 pounds. He was wearing a camouflage baseball cap, blue dress shirt, khaki pants, white shoes and a blue mask.
