Big Island police said a 20-year-old Kona man arrested for threatening three Kona residents early Wednesday has been charged with seven offenses.

Sonny Cabuag of Kalaoa was charged yesterday with four counts of first-degree terroristic threatening and one count each of burglary, unauthorized entry into a dwelling and probation revocation.
At 1:45 a.m. Wednesday, Kona patrol officers responded to a report that a man had entered a home in the Kalaoa subdivision armed with a metal pipe-like object and threatened to harm three residents—a 20-year-old woman, a 19-year-old man and a 20-year-old man.
Police arrested Cabuag outside his home on suspicion of burglary and three counts of terroristic threatening a couple hours later.
An investigation found that the female victim had also been threatened at another location, leading to the fourth terroristic threatening charge and the charge for unauthorized entry into a dwelling. The metal object Cabuag was carrying was a golf club.
Cabuag is being held at the Kona police cellblock without bail on the probation revocation charge pending a court appearance. His bail on the other charges was set at $75,000.
