Bobcats play OT for first win in Phoenix

PHOENIX — Stephen Jackson scored 30 points and Charlotte scored nine of the first 12 points in overtime to beat the Suns, 114-109, last night for the Bobcats first victory in Phoenix in their six seasons in the NBA.

Jackson, who tied the game at 98 on a 3-pointer with 19.9 seconds remaining, hit a 20-foot jump shot on the Bobcats' first possession of overtime to give Charlotte only its second lead of the game.

The Bobcats broke a three-game losing streak.

KNICKS 132, TIMBERWOLVES 105

David Lee had 28 points and 10 rebounds, and host New York scored the first 15 points en route to a 40-16 lead after one quarter in routing Minnesota.

MAVERICKS 108, BUCKS 107

Dirk Nowitzki scored 28 points and host Dallas held on when Milwaukee's Carlos Delfino missed a running 10-footer in the lane just before the buzzer.

LAKERS 115, WIZARDS 103

Pau Gasol and Kobe Bryant scored 26 points apiece as visiting Los Angeles beat Washington to even its record midway through a current road trip at 2-2

KINGS 99, WARRIORS 96

Beno Udrih scored 24 points, Tyreke Evans had 23, and host Sacramento nearly blew a 21-point lead before holding off Golden State to snap a seven-game losing streak.
