Surf in Hawaii continuing to drop, but will be back up on Wednesday

Advertiser Staff

Surf along north-facing shores will lower to face heights of 4 to 6 feet today, the National Weather Service said.

Elsewhere, wave faces today are expected to be 1 to 3 feet along west-facing shores, 2 to 4 feet along east-facing shores and 1 to 2 feet along south-facing shores.
According to the longer-term outlook through Saturday, a very large northwest swell should produce surf at warning levels beginning Wednesday and continuing into Thursday, dropping below both warning and advisory levels by late Friday.
