Special Olympics Hawaii will hold its second annual Polar Plunge fundraiser March 6 at Restaurant Row.
Participants who raise $100 or more in donations get to dip into a tub of 37-degree water. Individuals as well as teams are invited to sign up, and prizes will be awarded to those who raise the most funds and have the best costumes.
The event is 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Restaurant Row, on the makai lawn along Ala Moana Boulevard. There will be food booths, and entertainment. A post-plunge party will follow.
