University of Hawai�i junior Dennis Lajola has been named the Western Athletic Conference men's tennis Player of the Week, the conference announced today.

Lajola, a two-time all-WAC first-team selection, earned his fourth weekly honor of his career.
Lajola, of �Aiea, was 3-0 at No. 1 singles, defeating Lucas Tirelli of Saint Mary�s Alex Konigsfeldt of UC Santa Barbara and Nevada�s Wessim Derbel. At No. 1 doubles, Lajola teamed with Jeremy Tweedt to beat Gavin Leon and Steven Dawson-Roberts of Saint Mary�s and Alex Daruty and Stefan Dmitrovic of Nevada.
UH is off to a 3-0 start of the spring season.
Lajola will play in the USTA Honolulu Pro Challenger beginning on Sunday.
