Humane society investigating dumping of newborn puppies

The Hawaiian Humane Society is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the conviction of the person or persons responsible for putting a litter of newborn puppies into a dumpster at the Wai�anae Boat Harbor Tuesday morning.

Society officials are asking for anyone with information that could lead to an animal cruelty conviction to call the Humane Society at 356-2240 and leave a name, telephone number, the date and time, and how the caller can be reached.where the informant can be reached, and the date.
