Comedian Frank De Lima is offering an all-ages presentation on “Laughing and Learning in Hawaii Today” at the Kaimukï Public Library tomorrow.

The 12-time Nä Hökü Hanohano Award winner, billed as the “Portuguese Prince of Hawaiian Comedy,” is known for his outrageous humor and musical parodies, but jokes aren’t his only passion. Since 1980, the comedian has visited schools around the state through the Frank De Lima Student Enrichment Program, which emphasizes the importance of reading, studying and using the public libraries, as well as how to use laughter and family to manage major emotional and physical life transitions.
The free program begins at 3 p.m. tomorrow in the adult reading room. Kaimukï Public Library is at 1041 Koko Head Ave. For more information, call 733-8422.
