Last chance to see 'Iolani School’s ‘Kiss Me, Kate’

'Iolani School’s performing arts department closes its production of “Kiss Me, Kate” at Hawai'i Theatre at 7 tonight.

More than 50 student actors and musicians will perform in the Cole Porter musical about a theater company producing a musical version of Shakespeare’s “Taming of the Shrew,” with songs that include “Too Darn Hot,” “So In Love” and “Another Op’nin’, Another Show.” Lianne Chung, Robert Moran, Jana Souza, Webster Ross and Jackie Mosteller play featured roles.
The play is directed by Rob Duval and choreographed by Katherine Jones, both Poçokela Award winners; Manny Dayao provides musical direction.
