A University of Hawaii advisory council is recruiting candidates to fill the Hawaii County seat on the school�s governing Board of Regents.

The move follows the resignation of Hilo businessman Harvey Tajiri from the board.
Tajiri�s term runs through June 2013. The deadline for applications is March 15.
The Regents Candidate Advisory Council said yesterday that information on how to apply or nominate a candidate is available at www.hawaii.edu/rcac.
