Advertiser Staff

The producers of the romantic comedy Splinterheads and Bar 35 will celebrate the films release as a DVD with a party Thursday at the Chinatown bar.

The party begins at 7 p.m. and the film will be screened at 9 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.
Anisa Qureshi and Taylor Phillips, the films executive producers, will be on hand.
Splinterheads stars Rachael Taylor, Christopher McDonald, Frankie Faison and Dean Winters.
The film tells the story of a twenty-something joker who has decided that his thing is that he has no thing at all. When a small-time carnival rolls into town, he meets a gorgeous con artist who has more things going for her than anyone he has ever met.
Splinterheads was featured last year at the Maui Film Festival.
