Worker taken to hospital after falling 30 to 40 feet

A construction worker was taken to The Queen's Medical Center after falling through a window yesterday while working on a building in the Māpunapuna area.

Bryan Cheplic, spokesman for the city Emergency Services Department, said paramedics were sent to the site near Āhua and Mokumoa streets at 12:49 p.m.

It was estimated that the worker fell 30 to 40 feet.
