Gen. Frederick C. Weyand, retired Army Chief of Staff and commander of U.S. Army forces in the Pacific, will take place at 3 p.m. Friday at Central Union Church. A reception will follow. Inurnment will be 3 p.m. Saturday at National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific. Aloha attire is requested. He is survived by his wife, Mary; son, Robert; daughters, Carolyn Harley and Nancy Hart; stepsons, Bill Foster and Dow Foster; stepdaughters, Whitney White and Laurie Foster; brother, Robert; and five grandchildren.
