A Taste of Purim, featuring a hamantashen baking circle, will be held tomorrow at Chabad House.

Sponsored by the Jewish Women's Circle, bakers at the event will make the three-cornered pastry traditionally eaten during the Jewish holiday of Purim, which commemorates deliverance of the Jewish people of the ancient Persian Empire.

The event will get under way at 9:30 a.m. on the second floor of the Ala Moana Hotel. Admission is $3 — or by bringing one of the pastry's ingredients. For more information, call 478-8892, or www.chabadofhawaii.com/purim.
